From Andrea~

I’m Andrea and I’m a Doula in Barcelona. I help expecting couples to have a confident, informed birth and to keep a thriving relationship with a newborn at home. I work online and in-person. I attend hospital births and home births.

I speak English, German, French and Spanish. I pursued my training with Nurturing Birth, one of the largest Doula training organizations in the UK. 

I realized that women and their partners are often overwhelmed by all the information out there. (My partner, John and I were).

The role of a Doula is to support you on this beautiful journey to make sure you understand what’s happening during pregnancy, birth and once your baby is here. 

Furthermore, I support couples in their new life situation and the new roles they are finding themselves in. I’m a coach for couples. I did my training in Switzerland, where I studied intercultural communication and coaching. 

Apart from all that, I’m originally from Switzerland, living with my partner John and our sons Arlo and Nicolas in Barcelona. I love outdoor sports like kitesurfing and snowboarding and I am a helpless fanatic for fire performances with my hula hoop.”
